Patient Advocate / Advisory Board

Colette Pollard

Patient advocate and cofounder of the UARS Initiative, a patient advocacy coalition.

Colette brings the voice of patients to the heart of the Hopewell Foundation's mission. As cofounder of the UARS Initiative, a patient advocacy coalition, she has dedicated herself to ensuring that the lived experiences of patients meaningfully shape how new treatments are developed, communicated, and delivered.

Her perspective is informed by years of listening to individuals navigating complex reconstructive journeys, as well as her professional background with the National Institutes of Health, where she gained valuable insight into the intersection of research, policy, and patient care. This unique combination allows her to bridge the gap between scientific innovation and the real world needs of those it is intended to serve.

Colette is driven by a deep commitment to ensuring that no patient walks this path alone. She believes that true progress in regenerative medicine is measured not only by scientific breakthroughs, but by the dignity, hope, and quality of life restored to each individual.

As a member of the Advisory Board, Colette helps keep the foundation grounded in what matters most: the patients at the center of its work.
